The QualySense QSorter® is a high-speed single kernel robot which can measure biochemical and physical properties of every seed, grain or bean and can sort according to one or more of these parameters, from 30 to 3 '000 seeds per second. By combining two sensing technologies, 3D Machine Vision and high-resolution NIR Spectroscopy in one robot, QSorter® delivers outstanding results in terms of accuracy and sorting capabilities.
With the QSorter® you can analyze protein and oil content, moisture, sucrose, shape, defects and others. All of these parameters can be quantified and sorted into different classes in minutes in just one path.
Furthermore, SQI2, a data cloud solution, allows users to display and analyze the quality reports produced by the QSorter® in real-time and immediately share it with all the stakeholders.
The QSorter® Explorer generates outstanding benefits in quality control, R&D, and process optimization for the seed breeding and food & beverage industry.
QSorter® solutions are being adopted worldwide to remove subjectivity in the inspection process, to accelerate seed breeding programs, to recover lots contaminated by GMOs and to increase the purity of seed lots.
The QualySense QSorter® Explorer enables unprecedented benefits such as:
- Assessing multiple quality (physical and biochemical) indicators of grains, seeds, or beans batches in one pass
- Developing new algorithms for new food products or new seed varieties
- Automatic and ultrafast quality inspection of large samples
- Non destructive single seed analysis
