Maintain quality of corn through proper corn storage management with the latest Focus on Corn webcast

Mold and insects can damage corn stored at improper temperature and moisture levels, which can lead to health problems. To protect stored corn, growers should be aware of proper corn storage management practices including preparation, monitoring, and aeration of the stored corn.

The latest Focus on Corn webcast about “Corn Storage” by Dr. Ken Hellevang, Professor of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at North Dakota State University, addresses the importance of proper corn storage management and practices. It covers recommended moisture and temperature levels, as well as monitoring procedures.
