Reporting directly to the General Manager Solanaceae & Corn, the Global Product Manager (GPM) Sweet Corn drives the crop business strategy, from breeding partnerships to go-to-market, for long-term growth, profitability and market leadership. The first priority is to rationalize the sweet corn breeding strategy. Main missions are as follows:

Crop Strategy & Long and Term Business Planning (CBP Ownership)

• Lead the Crop Business Plan and define long-term strategic priorities aligned with company objectives
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to guide business and breeding decisions
• Manage market intelligence and support strategic positioning and growth opportunities

Portfolio & Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage the global product portfolio across its full lifecycle, from development to commercialization
• Drive portfolio decisions based on market potential, product performance, and profitability
• Lead new variety introductions and support pricing, positioning, and supply alignment

Breeding Strategy, Partnerships & Product Development Governance

• Understand the sweet corn breeding programs and work in close dialogue with breeders
• Assess the breeding partnerships, recommend which ones to stop and contribute to new partnerships
• Coordinate product development and trial planning with breeding, agronomy, commercial and operations teams

Commercial Execution, Go-To-Market & Market Enablement

• Support go-to-market strategies and profitable commercialization plans
• Align forecasting, supply planning, and commercial demand across regions
• Support product positioning, pricing strategy, and margin optimization

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF…

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) is preferred.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of global/regional marketing or product management experience within a seed company or the agribusiness sector
• You have direct hands-on experience in sweet corn: breeding, R&D, product development or portfolio management
• You have a proven track record in crop strategy, new product introduction and commercial execution
• You speak fluent English; Thai or Mandarin Chinese is a plus
