Certis Europe and Progema enter into exclusive cooperation agreement for Neudosan Neu

The Netherlands
July 24, 2019

Certis Europe B.V. and the German company Progema GmbH have entered into an exclusive cooperation agreement for the development and distribution of Neudosan®, covering the European Union.  The product is a fatty acid-based potassium salt with insecticidal and acaricidal activity.  Neudosan® is already EU-approved and currently sold in Germany on both greenhouse and open-field crops.  In addition, in Germany, the product has approval for use on organic crops.  Registrations in other EU countries are anticipated via Mutual Recognition procedures according to EU Regulation No. 1107/2009.

Jan Mostert, Certis Europe’s Portfolio Lead for Biorational products, stated: “Neudosan®, is an important addition to our portfolio and complements our range of solutions that Certis is able to offer to growers across Europe”.

Hans Martin Lohmann, Progema CEO, commented: “After several conversations, Progema found that both companies have very similar views on the development and positioning of this product in the European professional crop protection market. Certis has a long history in providing growers with solutions for sustainable crop production and we look forward to working closely with them to bring Neudosan® to the market.”

Certis Europe operates from branches across Europe and, outside Europe, through its International Business Unit.  It also has close links with Certis USA.

Mitsui & Co. markets and distributes a wide variety of conventional and biorational crop protection products, biological pest control products and services through its European, Japanese, African and U.S. marketing subsidiaries.
