TITLE 360 STATE SEED COMMISSIONER
Notice of Public Hearing
Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 14, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at the Office of the Indiana State Chemist and Seed Commissioner, 175 South University Street, Room A151, West Lafayette, Indiana, the State Seed Commissioner will hold a public hearing on aproposed amendment to 360 IAC 1-1-13. This proposed amendment will add inspection fees to be paid by distributors of agricultural and vegetable seeds to defray the costs of inspection,analysis, publication, and other expenses incurred in the administration of IC 15-15-1. It will also add reporting requirements of distributors for seeds distributed in Indiana and establishes penalties for reports not filed by the established due dates. The amendment will reduce reporting responsibilities of permit holders from quarterly to semiannual filings of reports. Copies of the fiscal analysis relied upon to calculate the referenced costs to regulated entities are now on file at the Office of the State Seed Commissioner, Purdue University, 175South University Street, West Lafayette, Indiana and are open for public inspection.Copies of this rule amendment are now on file at the Office of the State Seed Commissioner, Purdue University, 175 South University Street, West Lafayette, Indiana and Legislative Services Agency, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
