U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s  Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) - BRS annual Stakeholder Meeting rescheduled to December 9, 2020

USA
October 22, 2020

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s (APHIS) Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) has rescheduled its annual Stakeholder Meeting to Wednesday, December 9, 2020, 1:00pm – 3:00pm (EST). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As previously announced, APHIS is hosting a virtual meeting to ensure the health and safety of all stakeholders during the coronavirus pandemic.

Important Registration Information: If you have already registered and can attend on December 9, there is no action you need to take. Please do not register again. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, please cancel your registration by visiting our registration site. Meeting presentations and a transcript will be available on the BRS website in the weeks that follow the meeting.

Please join us to learn about our ongoing efforts to implement the new Sustainable, Ecological, Consistent, Uniform, Responsible, Efficient (SECURE) biotechnology regulations; look back at FY 2020 and look ahead to our FY 2021 priorities that support protecting plant health through the regulation of organisms developed using genetic engineering.

To ensure we identify the full range of interests, BRS will continue to accept input on meeting topics through November 13, 2020. Please submit comments or suggestions to BRS.Stakeholders@usda.gov.

Register today and visit us online for more information.

We look forward to your participation!
