INCOTEC and TRADECORP have agreed to join forces to design and market unique new seed technologies. An agreement has been signed formalizing this mutually exclusive cooperation. TRADECORP actives will be combined with INCOTEC seed coating and application technology which is specially designed for this purpose. INCOTEC will be responsible for marketing these products to the global seed industry
TRADECORP is well known for the development of special stimulants to benefit the growth of plants. INCOTEC is renowned for its highly sophisticated seed coating technology developed for applying actives that protect and stimulate plants after germination. In the cooperation between INCOTEC and TRADECORP both companies take the step into a new business segment where crop nutrition and root development can complement crop protection.
Both parties believe that this combined effort will bring a new standard to modern agriculture. It will give growers all over the world a new and unique tool to stimulate root growth, potentially making plants stronger under stressful conditions such as drought and ultimately to increase crop yield.
JanWillem Breukink, CEO INCOTEC Group: ”INCOTEC is heavily investing in the search for many different actives to apply to seeds. Actives that can protect the plant from external factors but can also stimulate its growth under conditions which are not always optimal. We are delighted to join forces with TRADECORP to combine the unique expertise of both companies. We see this partnership as the beginning of a new phase in the further development of INCOTEC. This new development focuses on stacking multiple actives into unique product market combinations”
Eric Van Innis, CEO TRADECORP (SAPEC Group): “As crops originate from seeds, crop nutrition - our core business - includes seed germination and root stimulation. Seed coating is the ideal carrier of TRADECORP ingredients especially designed to deal with crop establishment, as this positions the right actives at precisely the right place. We are therefore very happy to have established a global partnership with INCOTEC. The combination of the expertises of both companies will give a truly innovative result. This cooperation will help breeders to secure the expression of genetic progress.”
Marc André, TRADECORP Europe-Africa Manager: “Cross breeding between TRADECORP and INCOTEC genes is delivering what growers everywhere require: more from less. With this partnership we are developing tools for intensive agriculture that will also be accessible to small scale growers in developing countries”
