The Specialty Crop Regulatory Assistance (SCRA) is holding its 2021 workshop on the “Nuts and Bolts” of U.S. biotechnology regulations virtually on June 8-9, 2021.

SCRA assists public and private-sector developers of biotechnology-derived specialty crops in their efforts to navigate the U.S. regulatory process.

The workshop will cover the U.S. regulatory system for biotechnology products and will present several case studies, including high oleic soybean and blight resistant potato. Speakers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will discuss the case studies. For more information and to register for the workshop, please visit the SCRA website.
