After winning the 2018 silver medal with its ADORA tomato brand, HM.CLAUSE signs its return to Berlin with the nomination of its orange romanesco cauliflower brand AMORESCO® to the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award 2022.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 April and will allow all visitors to discover and taste all the qualities of AMORESCO® and then to cast their vote for the best innovation of the year until the award ceremony on 7 April.

Launched on the Italian market in January 2021, AMORESCO® is the brand to go beyond green romanesco and to experience new colors! AMORESCO® is the first orange romanesco cauliflower to bring a vibrant and surprising color to the table that are not limited to the traditional color, but instead try new ones, starting from orange.
“This innovation targets all the actors of the supply chain of Italy, UK, Spain, France and Germany who want to conquer their most demanding customers, consumers and restaurateurs” says Manuel Ferrer, EMEA Foodchain Manager for HM.CLAUSE.
Developed in Italy in collaboration with the CREA Research Centre in Roma, AMO125 is the first variety to enter the AMORESCO® range. Available from November to February, it is perfectly suited for both fresh and frozen markets. Thanks to its orange color, it has very good health characteristics. It is rich in beta carotene, very sweet and keeps its color after cooking, offering a surprising experience to the consumer. In addition, its color and fun shape are a good way to introduce children to cabbage and vegetables.
“Soon, the AMORESCO® range will be extended with the arrival of complementary varieties to broaden product availability. A second variety, AMO145, will be available next year, with a longer cycle extending from February to the end of March” explains Giovanni Canino, Foodchain Specialist for HM.CLAUSE in Italy.
