Jason Goltz has been promoted to Seed Certification Manager at the North Dakota State Seed Department, replacing Joe Magnusson who retired last November. Jason is a 9-year veteran of the Seed Department and most recently served as the Seed Regulatory Program Manager. He was active with the Association of American Seed Control Officials (AASCO) and served as that organization’s president from 2018 – 2020.

Dustin Smith has been hired as the Regulatory Program Manager, succeeding Goltz. Dustin is a graduate of the University of Minnesota–Crookston and has worked in several different positions in the seed industry in North Dakota and Minnesota.
