Grains Australia's Malting and Brewing Industry Barley Technical Committee makes early accreditation decision for Stage One varieties currently under evaluation

Grains Australia is pleased to announce that its Malting and Brewing Industry Barley Technical Committee (MBIBTC) has made an early accreditation decision for Stage One varieties currently under evaluation. A summary of results is provided below:

Varieties Undergoing Stage One Evaluation

Neo CL: Parcels of grain were pilot malted, as planned, to satisfy the requirements for Stage One. Neo has successfully completed Stage One evaluation and can now proceed into Stage Two commercial evaluation trials in 2024.

Titan AX: Parcels of grain were pilot malted, as planned, to satisfy the requirements for Stage One. Titan AX has successfully completed Stage One evaluation and can now proceed into Stage Two commercial evaluation trials in 2024.

Information on Stage Two varieties and their status will be announced at the usual time of early March 2024.
