As the 2024 growing season continues, farmers want to know that they are buying seeds that will harvest success. That's why more and more growers are looking toward suppliers to not only sell them high-quality seed but also to provide expertise in agronomy, including advice on fertility, soil health, and weed and pest control.[1] To meet this demand, better serve growing partners, and increase quality yields, Columbia Grain International (CGI) is launching their groundbreaking Seed and Agronomy Program.
Columbia Grain's Seed and Agronomy program is an end-to-end solution that helps farmers and buyers cultivate growth. The program encompasses expert agronomy forecasts, high-quality seeds and seed advising, and guidance for all stakeholders throughout the entire harvest cycle. As the producer's partner, CGI sells the highest-quality certified and conditioned seeds and provides certified crop advisor services through extensive field research to inform seed selection, regular visits to review soil and crop health, problem-solving, and identification of market opportunities. This program forges long-term partnerships through dedicated council and a bidirectional information stream.
