Valent U.S.A. today announced the appointment of Tiffany Dean as Vice President of Sustainable Solutions, effective December 2. In this role, Dean will lead the Sustainable Solutions Business Unit (SSBU) and oversee Valent’s corporate and commercial sustainability initiatives across North America.

Dean brings a wealth of experience in sustainability, strategic planning, and commercial leadership. She most recently held several key leadership positions at DSM, including Head of Planning & Strategy for Global Performance Solutions Animal Health in Vienna, Austria. During her tenure at DSM, she led Specialty solution programs, utilized data-driven analysis to identify growth opportunities, and executed portfolio strategies aligned with corporate KPIs and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets.

Prior to her time at DSM, Dean spent over a decade at Corteva (formerly Dow AgroSciences), where she held roles including District Sales Leader, Crop Protection, and Product Manager – US Nitrogen Stabilizers. Her work included expanding market share across all crops and collaborating with industry stakeholders to promote sustainable agricultural practices.

“Tiffany’s expertise in driving sustainability initiatives and transformational growth makes her the ideal leader to advance our Sustainable Solutions Business Unit and promote our unique portfolio of biorational, botanical and conventional solutions,” said Matt Plitt, president and CEO of Valent U.S.A. “Her proven ability to integrate sustainability into business strategies and foster strong partnerships will help us deliver even greater value to our customers while driving environmental stewardship.”
