Beck’s, the largest family-owned retail seed company in the United States and the third largest seed brand, is proud to announce its intent to acquire the facilities of Andrews Farm and Seed, a trusted provider of high-quality soybean and wheat seeds based in Carthage, Missouri. The anticipated closing date for the transaction is set for August 1, 2026.

This strategic acquisition reinforces Beck’s unwavering commitment to serving farmers with the highest-quality seed products backed by exceptional service and a deep understanding of local needs. Both companies share a farmer-first philosophy and a dedication to helping agricultural operations thrive with superior genetics and agronomic support.

“At Beck’s, we are focused on helping farmers succeed,” said Scott Beck, president of Beck’s. “Andrews Farm and Seed has built a strong reputation by putting farmers at the center of everything they do. Their team’s integrity, experience, and values align seamlessly with our culture, and we are excited to welcome them to the Beck’s family.”

Lynn Andrews, co-founder and owner of Andrews Farm and Seed, echoed the sentiment. “I am proud to announce this sale to Beck’s. Our shared values of hard work, honesty, and putting the farmer first make this a natural fit.”

With this move, Beck’s will expand its footprint and service capabilities in southwestern Missouri and beyond, ensuring more farmers have access to its leading lineup of soybean, corn, wheat, milo, alfalfa, and other forage products, agronomic insights, and practical farm solutions.

More details about the sale will be shared as the closing date approaches. Until then, both companies remain committed to delivering uninterrupted support to the farmers they proudly serve.
