InterGrain is pleased to welcome David Leah to the team as our new Southern NSW Territory Manager.
Well known throughout Southern NSW, David brings 25 years of agronomic experience in broadacre crop development and marketing. He has extensive expertise in barley and wheat, having driven varietal development across these crops as well as canola, and has been involved with the National Variety Trials (NVT) program since its inception.
David grew up at Gerogery in southern New South Wales, where his family’s farming operation produces wheat, barley and canola. Outside of work, he continues to run a small farming enterprise with his wife and family, keeping him closely connected to the region’s growers and farming systems.
InterGrain Chief Marketing Officer, Nicole Kerr, said David’s combination of deep agronomic expertise and long-standing ties to Southern NSW growers will be a major asset to the organisation.
“David’s experience across the agriculture sector coupled with his first-hand farming experience, makes him exceptionally well placed to support growers in Southern NSW,” Nicole said.
“In this role, David will work alongside our team to help deliver high-performing, locally adapted wheat, barley and oat varieties to growers and advisors across the region, supporting productivity on-farm across NSW,” Nicole said.
