August 20, 2026
At East-West Seed, farmers are at the heart of everything we do. During the Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition held from August 1st to 8th, 2026, our team proudly carried this mission across Tanzania, participating in ten regional centers including Arusha, Dodoma, Mwanza, and Morogoro.
Empowering Through Education
We believe that delivering better seeds must go hand-in-hand with sharing better knowledge. At Nane Nane 2026, we successfully trained thousands of farmers on basic, good vegetable farming practices. These interactive classes covered vital topics such as seedling production, the right use of pesticides, pest and disease control, and agro-waste handling.
To ensure long-term support, we also met with thousands of new famers across the country, building a robust network for future communication and agricultural education.

Seeing (and Tasting) is Believing
Operating under the slogan “seed is believing,” our vibrant demonstration plots showcased the yield, resilience, and high market acceptability of our top crop varieties. But visitors didn’t just see the quality, they tasted it. Our special tasting kiosks allowed farmers and consumers to experience the exceptional flavor of our new Crimson Red watermelon, Papaya Sinta, Red Royale, and Safi F1 pumpkin.

We also gave the agricultural community an exclusive sneak peek at the future by showcasing highly anticipated, upcoming high-yielding varieties of onion, tomato, Chinese cabbage, and okra, which drew strong interest and enthusiastic feedback from growers.
Award-Winning Excellence
East-West Seed Tanzania’s dedication was officially recognized with Best Exhibitor awards in six regions—including capturing the First Position in both Mwanza and Tabora.

As we reflect on the incredible success of Nane Nane 2026, our commitment remains stronger than ever: Better Seeds for Better Yield. We look forward to continuing this journey of agricultural transformation alongside Tanzanian farmers
