Seed-X and Gro Alliance announce that Seed-X will acquire the Gro Alliance vegetable seed improvement center in Davis, California, as part of Seed-X's growth strategy to build and operate its own sorting centers directly in key growing regions.
Seed-X selected Gro Alliance as its partner in 2023 to commercialize its patented proprietary AI-based seed sorting and classification technology based on different traits (including germination, vigor and purity) in the United States. Since opening the seed improvement center, Gro Alliance has provide seed improvement services across more than 15 crop species, from vegetables to row crops.
