Steve M. Hawkins to serve on the Board of Advisors of The Context Network

Steve M. Hawkins, Chief Executive Officer of Smartfield™, an information company based in Lubbock, Texas will serve on The Context Network Board of Advisors.
Hawkins was formerly a Partner with Context before leaving to take on leadership of Smartfield earlier this year. Context’s Founding Partner, Tray Thomas said, “Steve was instrumental to Context’s strong growth over the past five years. We are pleased that he has accepted this advisory role.” Thomas added, “Steve has visionary perspective that has served both our company and our clientele well. We look forward to his continued support of the work Context does for clients around the world.”
Hawkins joins existing Context advisory board members, Mark Wong and Bob Woods. Mark Wong is CEO of Agrivida, Inc., a company developing proprietary crops and processes to transform the economics of producing renewable chemicals, fuels, and bioproducts from non-food cellulosic biomass. Bob Woods is a business management consultant and former Chairman of Syngenta Corporation, U.S.
