Seed treatments and seed-borne disease in Europe

Seed-borne disease pathogens are among the most important causes of disease problems, with seed treatments a commonly used form of risk management.
Two HGCA final project reports have just been published investigating integrated disease management strategies across Europe following the development of fungicide resistance in some pathogens.
Research Review 75 evaluated information on seed treatment use, while EURO-Wheat looked specifically at disease factors in wheat.
