Mycogen Seeds adds new customer agronomist

Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
December 13, 2012

Mycogen Seeds announces Matt Kramer as a customer agronomist in California.

Based in Reno, Nev., Kramer will provide agronomic support to Mycogen Seeds customers and dealers. “I’m excited to interact with growers and help in the development of their operations,” Kramer says.

Prior to this position, Kramer was involved with seed sales and crop advising at Simplot Grower Solutions, where he worked closely with Mycogen Seeds products, technologies and growers in the Central Valley of California. He has previous experience at Harris Beef Co., where he interned and worked after college, and Stanislaus Farm Supply Co.

Kramer holds an associate degree in animal sciences from Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Frenso State University. He grew up on a family farm in Wooster, Ohio.

He will report to Keith Porter, Mycogen Seeds Agronomy Services leader.

“Matt’s addition reflects the ongoing efforts to provide a higher level of support to our growing business needs,” Porter says. “His former experience with Mycogen Seeds and California agriculture will make him a great asset to our Agronomy Services team.”
