New Zealand - Notification of amendment: 155.02.06 Importation of Nursery Stock

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has issued a minor amendment to the import health standard (IHS) 155.02.06: Importation of Nursery Stock, under section 24B of the Biosecurity Act (1993). The IHS dated 27 January 2014, replaces the earlier version of the standard dated 5 September 2013. The import health standard is available to view on the following website:

Section 2.2.2.2 Cleanliness & Tissue culture media has been amended to allow for tissue cultures to be imported in rigid containers, bags or pottles. These containers must be pest proof and transparent.
