Early career researchers funded by BBSRC working on new breeding technologies are invited to enter a poster competition presenting their work in innovative and accessible ways.

Winners will be given the unique opportunity to travel to Brussels to present their poster at BBSRC’s event on New Techniques for Genetic Crop Improvement on 12 November 2015.

Entries are invited from relevant BBSRC-funded researchers working on or utilising new breeding technologies, such as CRISPR, in any area of BBSRC’s remit, particularly in plants and crops research.

Up to 12 winners will be chosen by BBSRC, who will meet all reasonable travel and accommodation costs.

Applicants should complete an entry form (see below), and submit via email to gcievent@bbsrc.ac.uk by 5 October 2015 (5pm).
