All activities, assets and liabilities in NoroGard are acquired by Mecteam AB and placed in the new NoroGard AB, which becomes a division in Mecteam AB, with effect from December 21, 2015.
With effect from December 21, 2015, both clients and suppliers will benefit from the fact that NoroGard becomes an even stronger partner, when all activities in the current NoroGard are continued in a new company with the same name, which will be 100% owned by, and a division of, Mecteam AB.
NoroGard AB will continued to be operated by Ketty Nilsson, who has been President of NoroGard since September 2015. Ketty joined NoroGard two years ago in order to replace the owner and CEO Lennart Rosengren, who now is leaving NoroGard permanently. Production and administration will still be located in Skurup, meanwhile new facilities are being set up in Malmö, Sweden.
The integration of NoroGard into the Mecteam group is implemented in order to give the unique NoroGard Seed Treaters an even stronger position in the world market. As an integrated company in Mecteam, NoroGard will have better possibilities of growth and development. One reason why NoroGard will become strengthened as a part of Mecteam is that Mecteam group also holds NilsOlsAlpha, which will provide synergy effects to the business.
Naturally, the name NoroGard will still be applied, as this is a strong brand established by 50 years of development of high quality seed treatment machinery.
