Mycogen Seeds announces Chris Garvey has been named as general manager. In his new role, Garvey will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, sales, agronomy services and channel management for Mycogen seeds.
“Garvey’s demonstrated experience with developing marketing seed strategy will be a tremendous asset to Mycogen Seeds,” says Stan Howell, Vice President, North America, Dow AgroSciences.
In his previous roles at Dow AgroSciences, Garvey led the Seed Improvement Project and several seed company acquisitions and integrations.
Prior to joining Dow AgroSciences in 2002, Garvey worked for ICI Chemicals and the management consulting firm of Arthur D. Little. He is an alumnus of the University of Delaware, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in entomology and plant pathology as well as a master’s degree in business administration.
