Government of Pakistan seeks funds to acquire new biotech-based techniques for development in crops and livestock sector


Islamabad, Pakistan

The government of Pakistan has solicite new research project based funding through  Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) to acquire new biotech research technologies for development in Crops and Livestock. It is said by Dr. Yusuf Zafar T.I., Chairman PARC in his opening assert to the participants of “Competitive Grant Selection Committee Meeting” held at PARC HQs Islamabad on 9th August 2017. The meeting has been organized by Agricultural Innovation Program (AIP) for Pakistan under PARC-CIMMYT-USAID.

Dr. Yusuf Zafar said that under AIP, Agricultural funds are provided to PARC for the development of Agri. Sector. The livestock sector has an important value as well as crops in Pakistan.
