Barenbrug USA is pleased to announce that Tyrell Porter has joined the team as Forage Territory Sales Manager for the West region. Based in Spanish Fork, Utah, Tyrell brings a well-rounded background in agronomy, agricultural sales, and territory management. His experience spans forage production systems, crop fertility, and producer relationship development across the Northwestern U.S. His enthusiasm for the forage industry is evident in previous roles, each one deepening his understanding of what producers need to succeed. Born and raised in southern Idaho, Tyrell developed his love for agriculture on his grandparents' small dairy farm. This foundation has shaped his commitment to helping farmers and ranchers become better stewards of the land.
Most recently, Tyrell served as a Field Agronomist with Rocky Mountain Agronomics in Burley, Idaho, consulting with regional growers on soil fertility, crop protection, and field productivity. Before that, he spent several years at Stotz Equipment managing a regional territory and working closely with row crop and forage producers to find the right equipment solutions for their operations. Earlier in his career, his work as Northwest Territory Manager with Staheli West gave him a strong grounding in forage-specific challenges, including producer support for hay steaming technology aimed at improving forage quality and baling efficiency.
Tyrell earned a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Brigham Young University–Idaho, with an emphasis in Agribusiness and Crop Production.
Outside of work, Tyrell and his wife Tausha keep busy cheering on their five kids at sporting events and enjoying time together as a family. He also enjoys dirt biking, camping, and working on the family ranch.
